Welcome

Lawrence Central High School is hosting The 23rd Annual Classic show choir competition February 26, 2011 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

The Classic is one of the largest show choir competitions in the Midwest, featuring multiple performance venues and a variety of competition classes.

 

A popular competition for high school and junior high choirs from the Midwest, past competitions included InSync from Burbank, California and Swingers Unlimited from Marysville, Ohio.

The 23rd Annual Classic

The Classic will be held on February 26, 2011 in Indianapolis at Lawrence Central High School. LCHS is conveniently located by I-465 on the northeast side of the city. Mark your calendar today to make sure you don't miss The Classic.

The 22nd Annual Classic held last February featured 43 choirs and 2,000 energetic performers in a day-long competition utilizing four performance venues. There were also be over 40 solo performances by many of the stars from the choirs.

The Lawrence Central Performing Arts Association hosts the event with food and drink available for purchase all day long - including an Italian dinner served before the finals competition.

Adjudication

The Classic will utilize non-ISSMA adjudication sheets, providing an achievement based system earning points in the areas of vocal production, choreography and show design.

Competition Admission

Admission is open to the public. Admission wrist bands are sold the day of the competition at the entrance to the school.

Admission for all day time performances: $10.

Admission for the evening finals: $10.

Admission for both: $15.
